Laura Jacqueline Gonzalez Carlos has been practicing in the Social and Behavioral Sciences since 2005. Family, belonging, community, education, development, and advocacy are at the heart of her work.
CYFCare is a digital practice developed with the education, training, and experience that (in conjunction with GonCa Productions) produces and disseminates affordable educational, physical, emotional, behavioral, developmental, social, and spiritual support content and services for children, youth, and families.
Laura’s first degree is a Bachelor of Science in Communications with a concentration in Broadcasting and Multimedia Production completed at Cal Poly Pomona. Her Master of Arts degree in Child and Youth Care, obtained at the University of Victoria, and Associate of Arts degrees in Social and Behavioral Sciences, and  Early Childhood Education and Development founded CYFCare as an important component of her practice.
In addition, Laura possesses certificates in Neuropsychology from Beurin University that specialize in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programing. In her search for spirituality and inner study, Laura obtained certificates in Transpersonal Psychology and Parapsychology at Beurin University and The Padmacahaya International Institute for Inner Study.
Laura has worked in a variety of settings with families and children from newborn to age 19 with a variety of cognitive, physical, emotional, behavioral, developmental, and social challenges and needs as well as having been part of many multidisciplinary teams.
